Happy #motivationmonday! Today’s inspirational story comes from Texan teen, Hector Montez, who gifted his coach with a pair of Nike Air Jordans. The coach, Thomas Walsar, often spoke of how much he loved the shoes ever since they were released in the 1990s. The act of kindness stemmed from 17 year old Montez’s appreciation of Walsar. Montez bounced around from different foster homes, until his best friend’s family adopted him his sophomore year of high school. During this time, Montez met Walsar, who became a huge influence on his life. To show his thanks, Montez sought out to find the shoes and gift them to his coach, who was deeply moved by the gesture.
