Day nineteen. Today I finalized all my paperwork and interviews that finally allow me to begin volunteering at the hospital near me! As a nursing major this is amazing news! I am so excited to finally drive into hands on work in my field. The idea of being a nurse one day is a dream and I am ambitious as hell so I am going to do everything I can to be the best nurse I can be! I have learned a lot this past year about myself through running and my studies. I realized that I am determined to overcome obstacles and enrich myself as well as others. Imagine the day when I can wake up and put on a pair a scrubs knowing that I am making a difference in lives everyday. Is there a more rewarding way to live?
